Rob Kochon – Owner
Rob and his wife Carol started the business in 1985 from their home in West Lafayette and the back of their station wagon. Rob worked extended hours and many evenings & weekends cleaning carpet & upholstery in order to pay the bills and be his own boss. His work ethic and dedication to customer service has made the company what it is today. Rob is a hands-on owner, remaining active in all day to day operations.
Brian Wiegers – Operations Manager
Brian is Rob’s son-in-law and moved his family from Virginia in 2005 to join Rob in the family business. Continued family ownership is important to Magna-Dry and learning the business by working in the business has been instrumental for maintaining a successful company well into the future. Brian oversees the cleaning and water / fire / smoke restoration aspects of the business as well as marketing and billing.
Sarah Barrick – Secretary and Rug-Room Cleaning Technician
Sarah has been with Magna-Dry since 1999; she provides excellent customer service on the phone, answering customer questions, and scheduling all in-home evaluations and cleaning jobs. In addition, Sarah also runs Magna-Dry’s in-plant rug cleaning business.
Kathy Bennison – Secretary
Kathy has been with Magna-Dry since 1997 and now works part time as a general office assistant.
Matt McNulty – Lead Carpet Cleaning Tech
Matt has been with Magna-Dry since 2004 and helps lead the team of carpet cleaning technicians. Matt’s superior customer service and attention to detail make him a natural leader. Matt is certified through the I.I.C.R.C. in water damage restoration services and also assists with marketing efforts.
Greg Tyra – Carpet Cleaning Tech
Greg has been with Magna-Dry since 2007 and always produces a positive customer experience by doing what’s right and creating value within the cleaning process. Greg runs the equipment service & maintenance part of Magna-Dry and also assists in the water damage restoration services.
Joe Congleton – Carpet Cleaning Tech
Joe has been with Magna-Dry since 2008 and adds value to the customer experience by paying attention to the details and making sure the job is done well. Joe also assists in the water damage restoration side of the business.
